Jo, pacing back and forth in the room, was furious.

He was confused.

“How did this happen? HOW DID THIS HAPPEN YARRA?”

“How could you let this happen?”

Jo was Livid. Still pacing up and down the house, he stopped, looked at Yarra as she tried to get off the floor. He opened the door, looked back at Yarra one more time and slammed the door behind him.

Yarra, on the floor, was crying and at that moment questioned her whole relationship. She wiped the blood off the side of her mouth and sat on the floor for a while.

She reached for her phone.

“Hi! I need your help!”

“…..I’m okay, just not in a good mood that’s all. …. Jo is fine. We are great.”

“…Sooo, will you help me or what?”

“….*sigh* Thank you very much!!”

She put her phone away as she struggled to get up. She didn’t bother to call Jo because she knew what would happen. It had happened to her before and she didn’t want to go through it again.

She tried to get up the third time, her knees were weak and she was feeling a little lightheaded. moving was not a good idea and the liquor that was abiding in her body was not making it any better.

She passed out.

She woke up on her bed.

Shocked at first, she tried to adjust to the bright light and the loud music.

“I’ve been waiting for you to get up. Sis! you aait?” Alyssa asked.

“Al! What the… what are you doing here?” She asked as she tried to cover herself with her duvet.

“Girl! if you don’t stop with the covering up like I don’t have what you have? Jump into the shower. You asked for help, I'm here.”

This was the point of no return. She wasn’t ready to do this, but you know what they all say, “you are never ready, you learn as you go”. Alyssa by her side she knew this was going to be a walk in the park.

She closed her eyes and listened to avoid the lights from burning her eyes. This was the beginning of the end.
